下寮村是广东省汕头市潮阳区金灶镇辖下的行政村，位于小北山西端北侧山脚。据博雅地名网转载的村情简介，全村1001户、5009人（简介未注明统计年份）。2003年金玉、灶浦两镇合并前，它属金玉镇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：村落处在山坳里，包括下寮、外美、高斗三个自然村。[1]

刘氏先人从丰顺县迁来搭寮定居；村情简介称在清康熙年间（1662年起），历史沿革则记为清乾隆年间（1711年至1799年）。[1]

1953年由揭阳县划归潮阳辖区；2004年，三个村委会（下寮、外美、高斗）合为一个，驻原下寮村。[1][2]

经济[edit]

据村情简介，全村耕地1036亩，林地6610亩，辖3个自然村。当地主要出产三捻橄榄、玻璃油甘、香蕉、桑椹。近年的荣誉和入选情况：2023年5月获评2022年广东省卫生村。[1]
