下寮村是迳口镇下辖的行政村，村委会驻地在下寮村，村名由此而来；1998年撤销下寮管理区，设下寮村民委员会。[1] 村委会辖区面积13平方千米，耕地2860亩，水田1320亩，下辖23个自然村，815户2614人（据博雅地名网所载村情，约2008年数据）。[1]

村民委员会设于1998年，此前依次为管理区（1987年）、大队（1958年）。[1]
经济[edit]
人均收入约4200元、集体收入1.5万元（均为2008年）；主导产业为香蕉、花生种植和禽畜、水产养殖。[1] 2021年12月获2021年广东省卫生村称号；2024年1月，该村又列入2023年度的广东省民主法治示范村（社区），并于2026年1月入选广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
