新寮村是广东省汕头市潮阳区谷饶镇的行政村，位于镇的北部。明崇祯年间（1628年至1644年），祖先从石壁村分出，来此搭寮居住，村因此叫新寮。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网镇页所载，村创于明崇祯年间，开村的祖先是从石壁村分迁出来的。[1]地名由来一页同样记载，村名缘于石壁村的后裔在此搭寮定居。[2]页面还提到村落呈块状分布，住宅多为贝灰与泥木混合的结构。[1]
