塘尾社区位于深圳市宝安区福海街道西北部，东北与沙井街道万丰接壤，西接和平，南接桥头，北邻沙井的大王山、马鞍山，由原塘尾村改为社区。村名取自原村建在几个大水塘的尾部。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年10月塘尾属宝安县新桥联乡；1950年属第四区沙井乡；1958年先后归福永乡和超美公社；1961年7月属福永公社凤凰管理区；1963年起编为沙井公社桥塘大队，1976年12月改为福永公社塘尾大队；1983年为福永区塘尾乡，1987年1月改为福永镇塘尾村，1993年属宝安区福永镇。2004年7月城市化改制，改称塘尾社区居委会，隶属福海街道。[3]

塘尾的醒狮队属省级非物质文化遗产福永醒狮的组成部分。[4]

社区曾获「广东省卫生村」（2009年）等称号；2022年8月获评「第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」，2024年1月又入选「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1][2]
