永光村是广州市花都区花东镇的行政村，在花都大道花东路段中部，面积约0.8平方千米，下辖4个村民小组，村委会介绍的总人口为900人（未注明年份），离花东镇约3公里，地处丘陵[1]。

地名由来与沿革[edit]

成立农业生产合作社时，取「永放光芒」之意，定名永光。合作化时期办过初级社（1955年）和高级社（1958年）；到1964年，它与大塘、七庄并成大塘乡，名义上仍叫永光大队[1]。

1987年1月花东区公所设永光村委会，3月归花东镇。村委会原在第三经济社，2002年迁到现址[1]。

经济与荣誉[edit]

村集体收入主要来自商铺和山地租赁[1]。2024年3月，永光村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」，同年11月认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区」[1]。
