狮前村是广州市花都区花东镇东北面的行政村，面积约9平方千米，下辖10个村民小组，村委会介绍的总人口为1375人（未注明年份），离花东镇政府约17公里，地处丘陵山岗^[1]。

地名由来与沿革[edit]

村座落在狮子山前，因此叫狮前。中华人民共和国成立初期称石榴坑，上世纪60年代以后改称狮前，村政机构设在狮前乡；为方便分散的聚落，后迁往山猪口（现址）^[1]。

1987年设村委会，隶属北兴镇；2005年2月归花东镇^[1]。

村里发展农家乐休闲游，水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘养四大家鱼，另养鸡、鹅、鸭，种花卉^[1]。2021年9月入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（休闲农业），2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村^[1]。
