镇东村是广州市花都区花东镇东部的行政村，面积约2.4平方千米，下辖5个经济社，村委会介绍的总人口为1825人（未注明年份）。京珠高速公路的出入口和花都大道都在村域内^[1]。

地名由来与沿革[edit]

土地改革初期，村里先成立单干组、互助组，后重组为一个大队。因东面苏氏塘有振北楼，起名振东村，后来写作镇东村。原名牛山村，1993年12月由花都市民政局改名镇东村，辖区不变^[1]。

1987年设村委会，隶属北兴镇；2005年北兴、花侨、花东三镇合并，归花东镇^[1]。

村靠土地租赁和招商引资增加集体收入^[1]。2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号，2024年11月认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区」^[1]。
