京塘村是广州市花都区花东镇的行政村，在北兴圩以南，面积4平方千米，下辖9个村民小组，村委会介绍的总人口为2900人（未注明年份），丘陵地带，有两条公路过境^[1]。村里一口藕塘出产的莲藕，种藕已有200多年^[2]。

地名由来与沿革[edit]

村北有七个山头，像一头大狮子朝向京城；又因村里一口塘出产的莲藕曾被列为贡品，故名京塘。据考证，明代有从化黄溪村的梁姓人迁居此地建村。上世纪50年代末至70年代初曾改称「五一」，1987年恢复京塘村之名^[1]。

1987年设村委会，隶属北兴镇；2005年2月划归花东镇^[1]。

京塘有一口二十多亩的莲藕塘，所产莲藕又细又长，最长可达一两米，生吃清甜^[2]。2023年8月获评「2022年度广州市美丽乡村」，2024年3月被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」^[1]。
