保良村是广州市花都区花东镇的行政村，在花都大道沿线，村域约3.69平方千米，下辖11个村民小组，村委会介绍的总人口为1700余人（未注明年份）[1]。村名与一份保良公约有关：旧时村民为共同抵御外来侵扰而联合立约，村名由此而来[1]。
沿革[edit]
1950年成立农会，1955年办初级农业合作社，1956年转为高级社；1957年初并入花县华侨农场，次年脱离，设保良村。1963年与石角合并，1978年再次分开，1980年两村合为石角乡，1983年保良从中分出，恢复保良村之名[1]。
1987年1月，花东区公所设保良村委会，3月起归花东镇人民政府[1]。
经济[edit]
村委会距花东镇约4公里，与花东镇金谷工业园相邻。集体经济以出租房屋和土地为主，曾有公司租用村里两万多平方米楼房开发商业街；农业方面，山上种速生桉，水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘养四大家鱼，塘基养猪[1]。
荣誉[edit]
保良村在2020年、2021年、2022年连续三年列入「淘宝村」名单；2017年10月获「第一批广东省卫生村」称号，2019年9月列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」，2024年11月认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区」[1]。
