历史沿革[edit]
青罟沙在新中国成立前属沙湾乡，之后划归灵山。民国期间由沙湾何姓经营，围内小田以律、廉、敬、毅等字号命名。1953年4月称庙贝乡；1958年从青罟村分出大滘、中滘等片设村，定名庙青村；同年9月称庙贝团，1984年称庙青大队；1987年改区为镇后成立庙青村民委员会。[1]

据村情介绍（年份未注明），村辖大滘、中滘等自然村，村民小组15个，2377人，耕地4705亩，主种水稻、甘蔗；沿河堤广种的青罟大蕉曾远销港澳和广州。[1]
