南村坊村是广州市南沙区大岗镇的行政村，位于潭洲以南，因辖区内有南村坊而得名，特产大头菜。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
《香山县志》记载乾隆十一年（1746年）已有南村坊。民国时称南村；1953年与上村、新围合并，后称红星大队；1972年分出，称南村大队；1984年称南村乡；1987年成立南村坊村民委员会。[1] 村中杨姓始祖在明洪武年间由南海迁来。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
据村情介绍（年份未注明），户籍人口1286人、353户，分8个生产队，耕地1348亩，种水稻、香蕉、蔬菜并养鱼。2019年10月，村列入广东省卫生村名录。[1] 大头菜被列为大岗镇的特色农产品。[2]
