庙贝村是广州市南沙区大岗镇的行政村，原名庙背，因村在圣母殿之后得名；村人嫌「背」字笔画多，改用「贝」字。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该村地处龟岗脚下，民国时分为上、下庙背两保，进入20世纪后并为庙背村。人民公社化的1960年设庙贝大队，之后1984年改乡，1987年成立村民委员会。^[1]

据村情介绍（年份未注明），村西南有灵岗河，东北经高新沥通蕉门水道，灵新公路从村中穿过；自然村有宜安围、六顷围、万年荫、育婴堂、飘风涌、石涌、江滘涌、木棉村围等，有4226人，耕地6124亩，主种水稻、甘蔗、香蕉，是镇的粮食生产基地之一。^[1]

2022年1月，村被确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；同年8月，被确定为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2023年11月，入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村；2024年11月，被认定为广州市高质量就业村。^[1]
