历史沿革[edit]
香山县是南宋绍兴二十二年（1152年）从南海、番禺、新会三县各割出一部分设立的，潭洲从那时起隶属香山；到1959年7月改隶番禺县，居民委员会则迟至2002年才设立。[1] 潭洲曾单独设镇，2003年并入大岗镇。[2]
潭洲骑楼[edit]
社区内人民路上的潭洲骑楼建于1950年至1970年间，是广州市传统风貌建筑。[3] 历史上，潭洲人民路的骑楼和灵岗河边的水上集市，见证过这一带的商业往来。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，社区获广州市认定为2025年度的充分就业社区。[1]
