历史沿革[edit]
社区的前身是1986年成立的大岗第二管理区，到2002年3月，由居民委员会取而代之。[1]
银矿与银坑街[edit]
清末的大岗银矿（当时称潭洲银矿）在二湾社区一带，社区内的「银坑」街因靠近矿山得名。据南沙区文化广电旅游体育局发布的介绍，香港商人何献墀在1880年代买下矿山，1884年聘英国矿师来此开凿矿井，矿井后来增至5个；有研究者推测，这可能是中国较早用机器开采的银矿。银坑街在2020年完成微改造，社区同年创建为广州市容貌示范社区。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年、2022年两度获评广州市绿色社区，2024年获评广州市充分就业社区。[1]
