马前村是广州市南沙区大岗镇的行政村，西南临洪奇沥水道，隔河与中山市相望，因位于放马山前而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村庄形成于清代，《香山县志》里乾隆十一年（1746年）已见马前沙之名。1953年，它和龙古、鸭利、维新、毓桂五处合成合利乡，其后曾称合利大队、红旗大队；期间1961年、1982年两度分出，恢复为马前大队。1987年起设村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
据村情介绍（年份未注明），村域约0.8平方千米，常住人口1993人，农业用地768亩，种香蕉、果蔗并养鱼，工业有造船、木家具和制衣。介绍称潭洲白蔗最初出产于村里的东鹅团一带。[1]
