历史沿革[edit]
村情介绍称，1735年有客家先民迁入；另一份区划资料记为村庄清康熙年间已经建立。1958年时属大岗大队，直到1987年才有自己的村民委员会。[1] 南沙区文化广电旅游体育局的介绍提到，乾隆年间东江一带的客家人来到大岗、潭洲定居，在罉塘、撑篙坑等处开采红石为业，形成众多聚落；河源的周姓、张姓和兴宁的陈姓都有人来此采石。[2]
经济与交通[edit]
村域约0.54平方千米，据村情介绍（年份未注明），常住居民约1920人，其中农村常住人口785人，另有外来人员约1200人。村在镇区近旁，豪岗大道和兴业路穿过，沿线工厂、商铺很多。[1]
石磨打造技艺[edit]
村里的客家人曾靠采石、打石磨谋生，石磨销往东南亚。「石磨打造技艺」在2023年列入南沙区级非物质文化遗产名录，传承人陈伟林亲历过客家村采石业的兴衰。[2]
