放马村是广州市南沙区大岗镇的行政村，曾称放马沙、放马坊，因村内的放马山得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
放马沙之名见于《香山县志》，乾隆十一年（1746年）已有；同治十二年（1873年）又有从放马、马前去顺德新河的横水渡。新中国成立后，放马先归南新乡（后称五联乡），1961年单立为放马大队，1965年入红星大队，1972年改属新围大队，1984年称乡，1987年成立村民委员会。[1]

据村情介绍（年份未注明），村有常住人口1618人，外来人口380人，土地1136亩，其中鱼塘686亩；镇属的自来水厂和轧钢厂设在村内。2024年，村被认定为广州市充分就业村。[1]
