红光村位于罗镜镇，村中的东山一带有清代水师将领吴绍麟的墓葬。村里早期居民以潘氏、崔氏为主。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明末清初属罗定州二都顺仁乡。清末至民国时期隶属罗定县第三区罗镜团，此后隶属数次变动。1958年9月至1961年5月属罗镜公社，1974年7月，两个生产大队合并组建红光生产大队。1983年8月改为红光乡，1986年11月乡制撤销，改为村民委员会，1998年9月管理区改称村委会。[2]

姓氏宗族[edit]

潘氏始祖于明末清初由佛山南海大沥镇迁入，形成本村最早的村落。崔氏始祖锡龙于同期自番禺市桥一带迁入，此后其他姓氏陆续迁来。[2]

经济[edit]

村中大力支持橄榄核雕产业，加工作坊已改造升级，村里还建有一处种植采摘观光基地。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

吴绍麟墓位于本村东山，墓碑为浮雕牌坊形，坊额刻“我武维扬”四字。吴绍麟为罗镜东墟人，清代水师将领，任平海营参将，后官至阳江镇总兵。2011年2月14日公布为「罗定市第四批文物保护单位」。[3]

文化[edit]

2026年1月，红光村获评第二批广东省「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
