红光村是梅州市梅县区丙村镇辖下的一个行政村，位于镇中心区，旧称井塘村、福安寨。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，村子古称福安寨；清代因寨内外水井与池塘很多，改叫井塘寨，后来才称红光村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
红光在1983年设乡，1987年为管理区，1999年起设村委会，一直沿用到现在。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年1月，省乡村振兴局确定它为乡村治理示范村的创建单位（2021年度）；2022年8月，农业农村部推介它为2022年中国美丽休闲乡村；2025年3月，红光村被命名为第七届全国文明村镇；2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
著名人物[edit]
国民革命军将领温鸣剑（1907年—1991年）是红光村人，丙村镇的温鸣剑旧居（耕庐）是他1946年所建。[2]
