大坪农场是广东省揭阳市普宁市的国营农场，位于市境西南部，隶属广东省农垦集团公司揭阳分公司。农场东北面与高埔镇、船埔镇相接，西面靠大坪镇，南面与汕尾市陆丰市的陂洋镇接壤。农场下辖梅星社区，以及石镜美村、凉亭村、桐树下村、大坪尾村四个行政村，政府驻地设在梅星社区。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，这一带属陆丰、惠来两县管辖。1950年划归普宁大坪乡。农场设立的年份说法不一：据博雅地名网，农场创建于1959年；据百度百科，1965年设大坪农场。[1][3]

2010年，大坪农场被省农垦总局评为「2009—2010年度广东农垦先进单位」。[3]

农场位于普宁市西南部，辖区总面积为27.84平方千米。另据博雅地名网，土地总面积约3000公顷。[1][3]

人口民族[edit]

2017年末户籍人口为7949人。第七次全国人口普查公报所列大坪农场2020年11月1日零时的常住人口为4937人，占全市常住人口的0.25%。[1][4]

经济[edit]

农场主要经营橡胶、茶、果树和谷物的种植。石镜美村、大坪尾村盛产青梅，凉亭村的八仙茶较有名气，销往外地。[3]
