大坪村在南雄市全安镇西北，离镇政府约21千米，周边山高谷深，难得有大块平地，村名以「坪」字取意。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949至1952年属南雄县第七区大坪乡；1955年，上村、大坪、塘坑、五斗岭、半径水五地合组一个高级社；1960年建大队，1984年1月改乡，1988年改管理区，1998年撤区设村。[1]
经济[edit]
约2009年前后的数据：总面积19.2平方千米，10个村民小组，300户、1328人，耕地768亩，山林2.7万多亩，帮扶项目为田七种植。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月获2022年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
