大坪村在留隍镇中心以东，处在凤凰山西北麓，村民讲潮州话，是革命老区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村在大钱、盐坪两村之间，各取一字，合称大坪。[1]原为大坪大队，至1999年改称大坪村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
大坪历来出产木炭、茶叶和青梅，青榄种植面积达千亩以上；水资源充足，已建大小水电站11座。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村址以外约2公里的凤凰山中，有一处约200米高的瀑布。解放战争时期，潮、澄、丰、饶四县武工队在村中的猪母警山成立，山上建有革命纪念碑，列为丰顺县文物保护点。[2]
