大樟村为茂名市信宜市洪冠镇所辖的行政村之一，在镇境东部。村名取自旧时当地生长的一棵大樟树。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国年间，这里是大樟乡下的十二堡；新中国成立之初归信宜县第九区管辖。大樟大队设于1958年属大樟公社期间，1963年洪冠公社成立后隶其下。1983年改建大樟乡，1999年定名大樟村民委员会，沿用至今。^[1]

据博雅地名网所载，全村辖38个村民小组，在册788户、4560人，耕地1873.1亩。种植的作物有水稻、玉米、木薯，另以肉桂作为特色产业。^[1]

洪冠镇人民政府驻在大樟村。^[2]
