大坪村是信宜市思贺镇辖下的行政村，在镇域西部，村域26.02平方公里、耕地1633.65亩，分7个村民小组[1]。

新中国成立前隶大坪甲，建国后设大坪乡人民政府（1955年称大坪乡），1961年立大坪大队；1983年改设乡政府，1987年起为村民委员会，1991年一度叫管理区办事处，1999年复称大坪村民委员会并沿用至今[1]。
