月街村位于洛阳镇西南部，距镇政府驻地63公里，博雅地名网称其是典型的石灰岩山区村，也是乳源县最偏远的行政村，统计用区划代码440232106212。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村委会背靠一座形如半月的小山，当地道路多铺石板，村名由此而来。[1]1949年后先设月街乡，1958年为大队，1983年设乡政府，1986年成立村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年重设村委会。[1]
人口民族[edit]
全村153户935人，林地30619.5亩；耕地共2184亩，旱地比水田略多（旱地1154亩，水田1030亩）。10个自然村中，有石街、大坪、石桥、新村、司前、山根等，另有油柞、瓦窑江、杉木角、田傍，村里办有小学一所。[1]东、西、南三面分别与本镇富塘村和阳山县江英镇的田心村、大塘坪村相邻。[1]2019年9月，月街村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」。[1]
