大坪村是大坪镇下辖的行政村，村名与镇名相同，距普宁市区约50.3公里，属革命老区。[1]

名称与历史[edit]

清乾隆年间（公元1736年至1795年），钟、杨、赖、罗等姓迁居此地。[1]

1950年3月起，村子由陆丰县改属普宁县。1958年并入南阳山公社，1966年由农场分出，成为大坪大队。1986年大坪设镇后称大坪村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年改称村委会，沿用至今。[1]

地理与产业[edit]

村内有耕地598亩、山地5217亩，主要种植水稻、甘薯和花生，盛产青梅，另产橄榄、荔枝、油甘和李子。[1]

设小学与医疗站各一所。村中的公路有高坪、里坪、坪溪三条。另有碾米、木材、竹艺等加工厂。[1]

荣誉[edit]

「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单中有大坪村，时间为2019年9月。[1]

大坪村以青梅入选首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，名单公布于2020年8月。[1]

2026年1月，大坪村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
