大坪镇是广东省揭阳市普宁市的一个镇，位于普宁市西南部，东面与船埔镇相接，南面紧邻陆丰市的陂洋，北面连着陆河县的水唇镇。[4][5][6]

镇域多山，农业以青梅、八仙茶等为主，境内的名胜有大唐古道和善德梅海景区，龙坑村另有革命烈士纪念碑。[1][2][3][7][8]

历史沿革[edit]

较早时，此地归海丰县与陆丰县的石凡都管辖。民国时期它属陆丰一带的南塘区，1949年初成为解放区南阳山特区的一部分。[4]

1950年3月起，此地改归普宁县管辖，当时曾分属西阳区、梅林区，以及第十二区、第十三区中的大坪乡。1957年区级建制撤销，此地改设大坪乡；1958年，这一带转入南阳山公社。[4]

1961年，自南阳山公社分出一片土地，建为国营大坪农场。1965年12月，另一次分出建立大坪公社。1983年改设大坪区，1986年由区改为镇。[4]

地理环境[edit]

镇域气候为亚热带季风型，平均气温21.4℃，全年平均降水量2615.9毫米。[5]

山地林木茂盛，水力条件较好，矿产以花岗岩为主，分布于多个山头，蕴藏量约一亿立方米。[5]

经济[edit]

镇内种有青梅、油甘、青榄等水果，果树生产基地约4.2万亩。[5]

广东省农业农村部门于2020年8月发布名单，第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业镇中有大坪镇，产业为青梅。[4]

2024年8月30日，「普宁市大坪八仙茶协会」揭牌，同日为一处出口茶叶种植基地办理了备案颁证。[3]

文化[edit]

大坪闹元宵是本地的传统节俗，节日期间吸引乡亲与游人前来观赏。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

大唐古道的北端在大坪卫生院后山，南端抵达塘唇村的指坳洋，长2.6公里，据称已有近600年历史，连接善德梅海与龙坑村的革命烈士纪念碑两处景点。[1][8]

善德梅海位于善德村，占地1120亩，景区以青梅林为主，兼营观光。[7]

龙坑村的革命烈士纪念碑兴建于2008年10月，占地总面积2.5亩，用于安葬革命烈士，可查姓名并被评为革命烈士的有15人。2018年2月，纪念碑所在的龙坑村一带被命名为第六批「普宁市爱国主义教育基地」。[2]

大坪镇的文物古迹中，新福村有「欧公陂窑址」，大坪圩以北有「七斗凸窖址」。[5]
