田心村村民在解放战争中作出了贡献，县人民政府因此授予该村「解放战争游击根据地村」称号，授予的年份未见载于来源。[1]

农业与养殖[edit]

主要农作物有水稻、玉米和花生，养殖业以养猪和养鸡为主。2008年8月，一家天然农场落户田心村，饲养胡须鸡、巴马香猪、东山羊和黑棕鹅。[1]
