永安社区在河源市东埔街道的东北部，辖区主要沿永安路一带，因此得名。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

社区范围东到越王大道以西，南到永和路以北，西到客家公园与源西街道交界处，北到永康大道以南，面积约2平方千米。[1] 博雅地名网称，辖区内有市直机关、客家公园、市儿童公园、健身广场、商业中心、市人民医院和市电视台。[1] 社区有鸿大城、立元世纪年华、坚基公馆等6个小区和1个安置点；人口方面，户籍1207人，常住约6472人，合计约8071人。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，永安社区上了「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2025年3月，又获评「2025年度河源市绿色社区」。[1]
