得名[edit]

村名一说在东面日出之处，二说取革命象征「红星」之意。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时这里叫「辞田上下洋」。后来从徐东大队分出，成立东星生产大队；1983年后设东星乡政府，1986年改称管理区，1999年改为村民委员会。[3]
