得名[edit]
村名由镇名的「浮」字加方位「西」而成。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
浮西原叫周方村，后写作周邦。1958至1983年为浮西大队，1984年称乡，1990年设管理办事处，1999年改设村民委员会。[3] 2019年9月，浮西村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
