村民在村里耕田种粮，盼望兴旺，让家家过上好日子，村名由此而来。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
瑶兴在1958年成为大队，存续到1983年；次年2月取消大队，改设大信乡政府；1986年起至1990年设管理区，1999年成立村民委员会。[3]
