新寮村位于广东省惠州市惠东县平海镇境内，是镇辖的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，新中国成立后，此地渔民搬到岸上建新房定居，故名新寮。[1]

1966年组建新寮渔业生产大队，1969年改作新寮革命委员会，1987年3月据惠东府函〔1987〕23号批复定名新寮村委会，1989年起设管理区办事处，1999年又改设村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，新寮村被列为「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
