历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，相传明末湖南长沙的曾姓人家迁到东坑山定居，人少地多，农事繁忙，又要外出经商，便动员大家“甲”起来耕种，叫作“逼甲”，后来把“逼”改为“碧”。[1]
1959年设碧甲大队，1983年改设为乡，1987年3月据惠东府函〔1987〕23号批复定名碧甲村委会，1989年设管理区，1998年起为村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
2023年4月，碧甲村在「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村创建单位名单」之列。[1]
