历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村最初由六个村庄组成，故名六乡。[1]
1959年设六乡大队，1983年改设为乡，1987年3月据惠东府函〔1987〕23号批复定名六乡村委会，1989年起设管理区，1998年又改设村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，六乡村被列为「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
