历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，此地原名顺寮，意思是顺着小溪搭寮居住；茅寮失火烧毁后重建，因海湾半岛形似八卦，而此处在八卦的巽位，就以“巽”代“顺”，得名巽寮。[1]
1972年属巽寮公社；1980年名为巽寮乡；1987年3月据惠东府函〔1987〕21号批复定名巽寮村委；1989年名为巽寮管理区；1998年名为巽寮村；2020年1月14日，巽寮湾社区居民委员会分出。[1]
