维基百科的巽寮度假区条目记，原巽寮镇辖巽寮、赤砂、榄涌、渔业4个村民委员会；至2020年1月，度假区中心的渔业村登记的户籍人口为1430多人。[2]
文化[edit]
博雅地名网记下该村的多项荣誉：2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」；2021年9月，认定为「第二批全国乡村治理示范村」；2022年8月，定为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」；2023年11月，入选「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」；2024年4月，进入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单」。[1]
