历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，此地多山，地形像“峒”，又多鹧鸪鸟，取名鹧鸪洞，简称鹧洞。[1]
1931年8月属惠阳县平海第五区，名为鹧鸪洞乡；1951年12月名为鹧洞小乡；1957年12月划入保群乡；1959年名为鹧洞大队；1963年2月属平海公社；1983年名为鹧洞乡；1987年3月据惠东府函〔1987〕9号批复定名鹧洞村委；1998年改名为鹧洞村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，鹧洞村被列为「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
