港口社区位于广东省惠州市惠东县平海镇，是镇下辖的社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，社区在大星山北侧的海港入口处，因此取名港口。[1]

1931年8月归惠阳县平海第五区，名港口镇，1937年9月降为港口乡，1951年12月又称港口小乡，1957年12月并进平海镇。1966年是城镇居民大队；1984年，城镇、港一、大澳三个村合并，再称港口镇；1987年3月据惠东府函〔1987〕23号批复改称居委，2002年依粤民基〔2002〕5号文定为现名。[2]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，港口社区被列为「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
