平山街道是广东省惠州市惠东县的县城所在地，位于全县西部、西枝江畔，县人民政府驻此，也是全县的政治、经济和文化中心。[1]2005年12月由平山镇改设为街道，现辖20个社区和24个行政村。[3][8]

街道以制鞋、制衣为主要产业，另有电子、五金、皮具、塑胶、建材、家具等门类；据百度百科，2019年全街道有15个大型专业市场，规模以上工业企业21家。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网整理的沿革，平山在北宋绍圣元年（1094年）已是集市，叫洪堂市；明代洪武元年（1368年）在此设驿站，称平山驿；清雍正八年（1730年）又设了平山巡司。民国时期的名字是平山墟。新中国成立后，1950年冬划归惠阳县第十一区。[3]

惠东县在1958年春从惠阳县分出，平山成了县城，设镇仍叫平山；这一年11月惠东又并回惠阳。1965年惠东县重新设立，平山再次做县城。其后，平山镇公社于1966年自平山公社分出，平山镇人民政府在1980年12月成立，2005年12月撤镇设街道。[3]

此后辖区又有两次较大变动。2005年12月实行区划调整（粤民区〔2005〕61号），蕉田社区等原属大岭镇的村和社区划入平山街道。[9]2017年10月，原属多祝镇的增光社区和大片地、平江、读光、维德、联新等村经粤民函〔2017〕2295号文划入平山街道。[10][11]

社区也有拆分：2017年3月从金光社区分出华侨城社区，从蕉田社区分出湖榕、泰园两个社区；2020年11月从南湖社区分出惠园社区，从黄排社区分出福田、百丘田两个社区。[9]

地理环境[edit]

平山地处惠州东面的西枝江畔，博雅地名网记其位置约在东经114°42′、北纬22°59′，属亚热带气候，年平均气温21.7摄氏度左右。[2]

关于辖区面积，各资料说法不一：百度百科记为110.88平方千米（2020年），维基百科为132.03平方千米，博雅地名网则为329.22平方千米。[1][4][2]

人口民族[edit]

百度百科记载，2019年全街道户籍人口17.40万人。[1]维基百科条目的数字较早，为236877人，其中农业人口约3.3万。[4]

经济[edit]

三次产业的比重在2008年为4.1∶51.5∶44.4，到2013年调整为3.6∶38.6∶57.8，服务业的比重明显上升。[1]工业以制鞋、制衣为龙头；2019年街道有34间新型流通连锁店、210间餐饮店和100间旅业，规模以上工业增加值5.3亿元。[1]

据维基百科，境内的工业园区有百丘田经济园、嘉豪运工业园和县民营科技工业园，另有制衣、制鞋两个特色园，当时各类工业企业共1415家。[4]当地俗语有“头平二淡三多祝”之说，平山列在第一位。[2]

据维基百科，广汕公路、深汕公路以及深汕、广惠、惠莞三条高速公路都从境内通过。[4]县城设有惠东站和惠东南站两座火车站。[1]

教育医疗[edit]

维基百科列出的中学共7所，除平山中学及其第二、第三中学外，还有飞鹅中学、谭公中学、惠东中学和惠东职业中学；县里的主要医院是人民医院（广东医科大学的附属医院）、中医院和妇幼保健院。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

  • 街尾井：在县城人民路，始建于清乾隆年间，由大小两口井组成，大的称“男井”，小的称“女井”，是惠东县文物保护单位。[5]
  • 飞鹅岭森林公园：位于县城东侧，三座山峰飞鹅岭、观音山、象山相连，占地199万平方米，总投资1.9亿元；南门广场和门楼2008年1月启用，园内有登山道和健身路径。[6]
  • 惠东县博物馆：在县城南湖公园内，1984年3月31日成立，2015年底在原址重建新馆；截至2019年末藏有文物1293件（套）。[7]

县城的公园还有南湖公园、西枝江公园、惠东公园等。[4]
