历史沿革[edit]
村名取“碧秀”之意：四周群峰奇特，青山绿水相映。[1]
同治九年（1870年）碧山小村属升平社堡，由平山司巡检管辖。1931年8月设碧山乡，在惠阳县平山第六区；1951年12月是第十一区（区府在平山镇）的碧山小乡；1957年12月并入永西乡，1958年归平山公社，1963年2月称碧山大队。1984年碧山与陈塘合并为碧山乡；1987年3月依惠东府函〔1987〕27号文设碧山村委，之后称管理区（1990年）、村（1999年）。2005年12月区划调整（粤民区〔2005〕61号），由大岭镇划入平山街道。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，碧山村列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，主导产品是蓝莓；同年11月获「第六届全国文明村镇」称号；12月入选「第一批广东省少数民族特色村寨」。[1]
2023年11月，碧山村入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村；2024年4月列入广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单。[1]
