平山村是石颈镇西北部的行政村，离镇政府约5.5公里，辖7条自然村，办事处设在平山村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
起初是1963年的平山大队，其后依次改作平山乡（1983年）、村委会（1986年）、管理区（1989年），1998年重新称村委会。村名因所在地是一座平缓的山坡。[1]
人口民族[edit]
人口2812人，耕地1338亩。[1]
经济[edit]
村在长青水库下游，水源充足，特产有红烟；因与长青水果场相邻，红橙种植起步较早，技术较成熟。2024年1月，获评「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
