平山村是广东省茂名市信宜市北界镇西部的行政村，村名来自一片经引水开垦的平坦荒地。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
这里原是开阔平坦的荒地，后来引水垦耕成田，因而叫平山。[1]
民国年间与东村同属六城乡第十二、十三堡，合称东村堡；1958年两地并称东村社，1961年成立北界公社时分开，另设平山大队；1983年设平山乡政府，1989年称管理区办事处，1999年起称平山村民委员会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
全村分26个村民小组，在册882户，总面积5平方公里（该站未注明年份）。以水稻为主，发展速生桉。[1]
2023年5月，平山村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
