沿革[edit]
博雅地名网称，平山村由东明公在明孝宗年间（约1490年）建立，距今五百多年。[1] 旧时村里种荔枝、沙梨；新中国成立后分四个生产队，1980年成立村委会，1992年起改为居委会并办平山股份公司，2001年设社区居民委员会，2004年6月成立社区工作站。[1]
现状[edit]
社区有居民楼约580栋，户籍人口约2700人，暂住人口近4万人，设有小学1所、幼儿园2所和工业园区8个。[1] 荣誉方面，它是「第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」（2022年8月），也是「广东省卫生村」（2020年），2019年还进入广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
