沙头村位于广东省惠州市博罗县园洲镇，是该镇下辖的行政村。相传宋朝时梁氏从增城板石迁来定居；当地土地多是沙粒地，故名沙头。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

沙头在新中国成立前归东莞县文顺乡（今石龙）管。1952年同深沥、土瓜圩、阵村合组丰平乡，归东莞第七区（企石区）；1958年划入企石公社的上南大乡；博罗县于1959年3月接管，编入园洲人民公社。1962年同阵村合为和安大队；1978年和安大队拆开，沙头另设大队；1986年起设管理区，直到1999年才成为沙头村民委员会。[2][3]
