田头村位于广东省惠州市博罗县园洲镇，是该镇下辖的行政村。据传，1277年陈氏始祖允迪为避战乱，携妻儿共六人从南雄珠玑巷迁到此处开荒定居。这里是岭岗地形，形似一个「田」字，村子建在字的前端，因而得名田头。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
田头在新中国成立前归东莞县文顺乡（今石龙）管。1949至1957年划在东莞第七区（企石区），1958年划入企石公社的上南大乡；博罗县于1959年3月接管，编入园洲人民公社并设田头大队。其后1984年设乡；1987年3月起设管理区，直到1999年才成为田头村民委员会。[2][3]
