白马围村位于广东省惠州市博罗县园洲镇，是该镇下辖的行政村。明万历二十六年（1598年），进士邓云霄（1566—1631年）受皇帝封赏，赐木鹅一只，木鹅沿江漂流，漂到哪里，邓云霄就在哪里收租。白马围原是一片荒洲，邓云霄请来东莞厚街白马村的黄、梁两位表兄弟耕洲，此地先称白马洲，后来人口增多，改称白马围。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立后称白马围乡；1958年设白马围大队，1983年复称乡，1986年改设管理区，直到1999年才成为白马围村民委员会。[2][3]
