桔龙村位于广东省惠州市博罗县园洲镇，是该镇下辖的行政村。桔龙村由桔头村和龙叫村合并而成。桔头村谭氏先祖原居江西宁都，经南雄珠玑巷迁入东莞大宁；元至大三年（1310年），谭维月的第六代后裔谭禄郎迁到此处，因社公庙旁有一棵特别大的老桔树，村称桔头。龙叫村全村姓莫，始祖叙伦公于南宋端平二年（1235年）自东莞常平大洲村迁来立村，因附近东江水冲刷水流角「石龙」发出声响而名龙叫，是园洲较早立村的村庄之一。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
桔头乡与龙叫乡在新中国成立前同归东莞县文顺乡（今石龙）管。1949至1957年划在东莞第七区（企石区），1958年划入企石人民公社的上南大乡；博罗县于1959年3月接管，编入园洲人民公社。1961年以后两村合并，称桔龙大队；1984年设桔龙乡；1986年1月起设管理区，直到1999年才成为桔龙村民委员会。[2][3]
