刘屋村位于广东省惠州市博罗县园洲镇，是该镇下辖的行政村。明正德年间（1506—1521年），始祖十一世乳南公携儿子刘明顺、刘明安，由江西顺北江、东江南下谋生，见此地地势平坦、土壤肥沃，又靠近古镇石龙、水陆两便，便在这里建村；村民姓刘，故称刘屋。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
刘屋在新中国成立前归东莞县文顺乡（石龙）管。1950年刘屋、陈屋、田寮三村合组下南乡，归东莞第七区（企石区）；1958年10月编入企石人民公社上南大乡；博罗县于1959年3月接管，编入园洲人民公社。1962年设刘屋大队；1963年至1979年与上南、陈屋三村并作上南大队，1979年又单独设队；1983年11月同圩镇、陈屋合组下南乡，1986年1月乡撤销，刘屋改设管理区，1999年3月起为刘屋村民委员会。[2][3]
