历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村名的来由是最早迁来此地聚居的是姓梁的壮人，“梁”与“良”同音，故称良村。万历二十七年（1600年）这里归曲江县犁市管，民国年间在该县第三区；1984年划入韶关市北江区，三年后并入十里亭镇，2004年起为良村村委会[1]。
人口民族[edit]
该村由良村、沙头、火冲、坝厂以及坳背老村、坳背新村六个自然村合成，通行本城话、客家话和广州话。2004年全村1503人[1][2]。
经济[edit]
1993年推行“粮改菜”后，水稻面积缩减七成，改种蔬菜，兼营养猪和水产。2004年耕地600亩（水稻450亩、蔬菜150亩），山林12000亩，村办煤矿、砖厂、瓦厂各一，工农业总产值217万元[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
中共粤北省委旧址位于五里亭良村，为两层客家民居式建筑，是广东省文物保护单位[3]。北伐战争纪念馆的地址同在五里亭良村公路四横巷，2010年7月1日开放[4]。
